Long-lasting comfort with durability

New Softlay is a fixed stall matting system that offers simple installation, easy cleaning and – as it’s just about the most comfortable and robust matting you can put your stock onto – a low pay-back period.

The Farmat Softlay System is made up of a mattress underlay of 32mm thickness and a rubber top cover of 8mm.

  • The system is easily fitted by initially laying out a rubber surround on to the base concrete.
  • The mattress underlay sheets are then placed between the rubber surround strips.
  • The rubber surround strips are then secured to the concrete by drilling and fixing with a hammerbolt.
  • This is fitted all round and then a rubber top cover is secured over the top by fixing with hammerbolts or gluing.

The Mattress System is 1.8m x 30m x 40mm.

The individual mattress underlay sheets are 1.5m x 1.2m x 32mm.
